Why we use MCT in our CBD Oil

MCT is a very common carrier for cannabinoids. We use MCT in our CBD oil. Why? There are several reasons, which I’ll go over below.

MCT is an abbreviation for Medium Chain Triglycerides, which is a type of lipid like canola or olive oil. It is a smaller molecule than those vegetable oils, which makes it less viscous. This aids in both the blending with CBD, and makes the oil more palatable in the mouth.

MCT is also more stable that its larger lipid cousins, which leads to a long shelf life.

Most importantly, MCT is the main constituent of coconut oil, which not only adds nice flavor, but also adds the heath benefits of coconut oil to the CBD product. MCT is organically refined from raw coconut oil into a nice clear liquid. We only use USDA Certified Organic MCT. Many folks claim health benefits from MCT, which only adds to the synergies with CBD.

MCT is also versatile. You can cook with it, sprinkle it on your salad, or basically use it as you would any other vegetable oil. Thus, one can easily infuse whatever food you desire with CBD just by incorporating some of our organic CBD infused oil instead of vegetable oil in your favorite recipes.

Because our organic CBD oils are carefully assayed, and their concentrations verified by third party testers, you can confidently add whatever dose of CBD you desire.

Give our USDA Certified Organic CBD in MCT oil a try.
